Hi Mark, hi Angie,

After so many hours on tour Sheba arrived safe and sound at her new home on december 16th at 21:30 PM. By now after 14 days she seems to feel pretty at home. I see her every day, rode her several times and did groundwork with her. She is doing fine. Just today we introduced her to her new herd for the first time. She is very nice to all horses and they to her.

Sheba arrived at 10  to 15 degrees below zero. It must have been a temperature shock for her...We have plenty of snow here. Did she know snow before? Is there often snow in winter in Tennessee?

I wish you a great 2011!!! And I will keep you updated with pics :)

Kind regards,
Nina

Nina,
It has been nice getting to know
you, and fun having a "pen" pal.
We are proud to have one our horses in
Germany, and so happy to have her with such a
wonderful owner.
Talk to you soon,
Angie
We are  proud of this young pair of horse and rider. Young horse lovers, like Chelsea, are the future of our horse world.
You guys make a great team and have many great years ahead together.   Congratulations Chelsea!
Thanks Barb for all the picture & updates on facebook and text messages. We look forward to them!
Mark and I would like to say thank you to everyone who has taken one of these beautiful horses home. We are so thankful for the friendships we have made. Each and every one of you have touched our lives in different ways.  Ownership of a horse is truly a gift and the time we get to spend with them, brings us lots of enjoyment. We know you have given them all loving homes and just wanted to again express our gratitude.
May you all have a blessed 2011 and a wonderful year of trail riding, showing, or any reason to be out enjoying time with your four legged friend.                     God Bless and Good Luck,

I just wanted update you on the Tennessee Walking Horse, Just Tex, that I purchased from your farm in January of this year.  He is a good natured horse.  We've been on several trail rides together, and he has done very well.  He crosses creeks well and has overcome his nervousness around the barn.  He fits in very well with our other Tennessee Walking horse.  I am in the process of teaching him to park out and am amazed and how quickly he is learning.  Roscoe, you were right about the "Cash" bloodline..  He is a great horse!

Roscoe, Mark and Angie,

My daughter and I just got back from a trail ride.  I am attaching a couple pictures that my daughter made.  "Mule Man" on a Tennessee Walking Horse.  : )    The South Carolina sun has lightened  his color a bit.  We had a great ride.  A couple weeks ago I took him to Harmon's Den with some buddies of mine.  He has not disappointed me.  We are having a great time together.

Dear Mark and Angie,
I had the most wonderful evening trail ride last night.  Probably
among my most favorite trail rides of all times, and I have owned
various types of horses for 25 years.  There were three of us .  My
friends Jennifer and Shelley on their Walkers and myself with Rebel.
He was a pure gentleman from beginning to end.  We were amazed that
for a 4 yr old, he could be shipped 15 hrs away, meet a new owner, and
ride in all new surroundings and smells the next day.  We rode over
wooden bridges, open trails, very small trails, up a dam area to the
most amazing sunset over the lake.  It has been so hot and dry down
here that we can't ride until after 7:00 pm.  Our ride finished when
it was nearly dark with Rebel in the lead taking us back to the barn.
My past experiences on the trail, I have always been more comfortable
in the rear position because my APHA horse at 9 yrs old was not ever
brave enough to lead.   Rebel was not fazed at all by the two big dogs
with us that were running up from all directions chasing squirrels, a
big dirt mover that was clearing a lot, or all the other strange
things that pop up in the subdivision that we cut through to get to
the trails.
Thank you so much for everything you both have done for me.  I will
cherish all my time with Rebel.  He is so sweet and handsome, I am
sure my husband will be jealous of all the attention I give
Rebel . . . just kidding. . . he has been used to all that over the
years!  I am so looking forward to future adventures with my new
horse, Rebel.  Pictures will follow soon.

Lets stay in touch,

Susanne

Hello Roberts Family! Just wanted to let you know how well Clyde is doing. He is the easiest horse to train. He does everything you ask him to do & more. As you can see from the pictures, I am now riding him  bareback (my favorite) . We are finally getting some rain. We fertilized just before the  rains started & what a change. We have to be careful with Clyde & all of the lush grass. He loves to eat (remember) & is already getting a grass belly. I am guessing that your weather is much better by now as well. I saw that you sold Sarge. I am always on your website. I can't stay away. The tribute to the foal you lost was so touching. It is just another way of showing what we already knew--that you truly care about your animals. I would take 2 or 3 more Clydes if I had the room. But at least we have him. Let me know how everyone is doing when you get some spare time. I will try to get pictures to you a little more often.

Take care,

Mark and Angie-

Wanted to send you a quick email to let you know Riley is doing great.  She is
so darn beautiful I just want to stand around and look at her.  She unloaded
fine and we stuck her in the one stall we have.  She dug right in to the hay,
drank well and was munching on her grain.  She is very personable.  I was
picking the stall and putting in new shavings and she didn't care the least
bit.  It started pouring down rain when we were out at the barn and she got
worked up some, but not too bad considering things.

It was very nice visiting with you and your father-in-law.  We have been
fortunate to meet some VERY nice people through the horses.  Would love to ride
with you all sometime this summer if you are ever at LBL or Wranglers.  We also
go to Midwest in Indiana and it would be well worth your trip there.  They are
having a huge gaited horse weekend in June that should be a blast...they are
letting people showcase their horses at different times during the weekend.
Would be great if you all could come.

Thanks so much for everything.  You can tell your horses are VERY well taken
care of and loved.

Hi!  I hope you all enjoyed your vacation.  Just wanted to drop you a quick email to let you know Kody is doing great.  He is such a sweet
boy!  He is a big hit with everyone that meets him. My nephew wants him for his own..........and he doesn't even ride!
I attached a few pics of him turned out in the pasture.  He loves going out, of course he only gets to do so if its dry.............wouldn't want him to get muddy! Ha!
Take care and I'll stay
in touch!

Mississippi Queen ~"Missi"
Well, we made it home with Missi without any problems.  She was ready to get out of that trailor for sure!  I lead her around the lot a few minutes and let her nibble on some green grass before stalling her up.  Easton asked if he could ride her and we just sat him on her bareback and lead him around while she ate some grass.  She was just as gentle as a baby and never made a motion or flicka .
And...we sure enjoyed visiting with all of you today and thanks for all the "info." and help.  Keep sending me anything you think I'll need....cause I need all the pointers you can give me.
I told Peggy that Mark was gonna whip her for not coming and she laughed; said she sure hated she missed the trip; but that we should plan a weekend for a get-to-gather down here and yall come down and we'll ride, grill out and have a nice "cowboy" time.

Yall take care and good night,
Sheila & Glynn
Mark and Angie, Was great to hear from you .  Twilight is doing great. She has adjusted just fine. She is eating all her grain now and follows me everywhere in the pasture. I haven't been able to send you a picture of me riding her but I will. She really can gait. I just love her. I feed her her carrots and apples every now and then. She is getting use to all the irrigation and all the tractors and farm machinery around here. You guys did a great job with her. . I will send you some pictures as soon as I can. Thanks again  Mark and Angie she is a wonderful horse.
Ronnie says Hi . You guys take care and talk to you soon.

Hello Angie and Mark
Rebel is doing great.
I love him more every day.  I won a Mini at a  Raffle fundraiser and had it at my house for a few days and I think
Rebel wanted to eat it for lunch. LOL.  I thought you would get a kick  out of this picture.

Mark and Angie,

Bubba and I had our first lesson with Helge today, followed by a half-hour
trail ride behind the farm.  We enjoyed ourselves and are getting to know
each other, as Bubba is very attentive and responsive to my cues.  Helge is
helping me to communicate clearly and consistently, and Bubba seems to catch
on to what I am asking quickly and without any fuss.  I am sure that is no
surprise to you!  The trail ride was following two days of rain during a gap
between showers-so it was muddy.  Bubba was careful and willing, even
crossing through the rushing waters of the small knee-deep stream and up and
down the hills.  Cleaning him up afterward and brushing him every evening
after work is helping us to become friends, and there is a lot of
satisfaction in that for me.  Everyone at the barn compliments Bubba and
tells me what a good horse he is.

I am looking forward to riding him frequently and helping him get in shape
for longer trail rides come spring and summer.  So far so good--in fact, it
couldn't be better for me!  I am sure if you had a few more "Bubbas" you'd
have interest up here!

I hope foal watch is going well for you!  Are you sleeping in the barn yet?
All the best to you with the babies--exciting times!

Regards,

Dale
